Ryan grew up in Metro Detroit and has attended Bandits as a student since 2002 and has been an instructor at the school since 2007. After attending Brother Rice High School, Ryan moved on to play 2 years of Jr. hockey in the CSHL for Quad City Steam appearing in the All Star game each season. After a successful Jr career, Ryan was recruited and moved on to play college hockey at Kent State University.

While at Kent State University, Ryan received his Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting and also gained his Masters degree in Business Finance in 2012. Ryan has many fond memories of Kent State as he was able to excel and play 4 season for the ACHA D1 powerhouse and gained 2 All American awards and was a 3 time All League recipient.

Bandits is excited to add Ryan to the Bandits staff full time as he will make an immediate impact in the goaltending community!

Over the past few years of my playing career, Stan has worked with me on strong fundamentals. I learned to have better ice awareness in and around my end of the ice. These are just a few excellent skills that Stan has helped me develop in my career. I think Stan is a great teacher for goalies of all ages.
