Career

Clayton Brown grew up in Flint, Michigan and now resides in Fenton, Michigan. Most of Claton's life has been spent playing competitive hockey for local travel teams including Little Caesars Midget Major AAA in 2007. Before playing in college, Clayton played 3 seasons of Junior hockey in Ontario, Canada in the GOJHL and NOJHL as well as playing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (AJHL) and Rochester, New York (EJHL). Clayton moved on to play College hockey for Liberty University (ACHA D1), making 2 national tournament appearances and also played for Davenport University (ACHA D1) making 2 more additional national tournament appearances. At Davenport, Clayton achieved a Regular Season Conference Championship (2015-2016), back to back Blue-Grey Cup championships (2014-15/2015-16), back to back Good Luck Duck championships (2014-15/2015-2016) as well as receiving second team All League Goaltender for the GLCHL.

Coaching

Clayton's professional coaching career started in 2007 with NHL Goalie Coach and Bandits Goalie School owner Stan Matwijiw as well as with 5 Time College National Championship Winner Joe Messina. Clayton has been a Head Instructor at Bandits for over 10 years. In 2016-2017, Clayton added a Collegiate National Championship to his Resume, coaching Aquinas College (ACHA D3) to their very first National Championship with a 34-5-1 record. Clayton has learned from the very best mentors in the game of hockey and with his own acquired knowledge he's been able to hone his craft and created a coaching style that truly brings out the very best in every athlete. Whether you are a young first-year goalie or an aspiring professional and seasoned veteran, Clayton has the knowledge and skill to transform, tweak, or change your game into a thriving winner.
