Messina's growing list of students in the Grand Rapids area include some of the most elite amateur, AAA, high school, Jr., college and pro goalies around. Messina's energetic, passionate and instructional teaching methods make every goalie he instructs wanting to strive for perfection on and off the ice.

Each week, Head Instructor Joe Messina creates a special insight recap video from the summer camps to show attending students, parents and goalies all over the world what Bandits is truly all about. Sit back, relax and enjoy some great saves, cool action shots and most of all, goalies doing what they do best, stopping pucks!

Over the past few years of my playing career, Stan has worked with me on strong fundamentals. I learned to have better ice awareness in and around my end of the ice. These are just a few excellent skills that Stan has helped me develop in my career. I think Stan is a great teacher for goalies of all ages.

A few years ago I was in desperate need for a goalie coach. I decided to attend a Bandits goaltending clinic over Christmas. During those 3 days I learned more about goaltending than I did my entire life. Without the coaching of Stan and the other Bandit instructors, I would not be anywhere near the goalie I am today.
